Is Your Brand’s Identity Holding You Back?

Struggling to make your brand unforgettable? A clear identity is your edge. Every Tuesday, I share a few thoughts on branding to help you shape a business that stands out. I’m Nick Eagle, and this is Two Minute Tuesday.

3 Ideas

Simplify Your Brand Identity: Complex branding confuses customers. Focus on one core message your logo and visuals convey. A minimalist logo, like Apple’s, sticks. Audit your assets—does every element scream your mission?

Colour Psychology Drives Connection: Colors evoke emotions—blue builds trust, red sparks urgency. Choose a palette reflecting your brand’s personality. For designers, test color combos for accessibility.

Iterate Logos for Impact: A great logo evolves. Sketch multiple versions, refining based on feedback. Business owners, ensure your logo scales across platforms. Designers, balance creativity with client goals.

and feels like.

Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs.

The more you use,

the more you have.” – Maya Angelou.

What’s one part of your brand—logo, colors, or messaging—that feels off?

Take a look at this Dyson logo redesign I did this week. I think it looks pretty cool. The triangle isn’t just a shape—it’s symbolises movement, innovation, and clarity. Inspired by Dyson’s iconic fan and reimagined with a light blue palette and clean, modern typography. A quiet evolution. A bold statement.

What’s also cool, is that one of my design hero’s Allan Peters also did a Dyson redesign this week, with a similar philosophy. Check it out and let me know who did it better?

That’s all for this week. If you’d like to explore how these ideas could set your business apart, book a call with me!

Have an awesome day,
